What is ITC Confeerence Grant

Inclusiveness Target Country (ITC) Conference Grants are aimed at supporting Early Career Investigators and PhD students from Participating ITCs to attend international science and technology related conferences, events or activities on the topic of the Action that are not organised by the COST Action.

List of Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs): Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, the North Republic of Macedonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey.


ESOC 2021

1 – 3 September 2021


The 7th European Stroke Organization Conference will take place online, from 1 - 3 September 2021. Participants will learn about the latest trial results, new technologies, hear innovative ideas and begin to understand how our future is being shaped by them.

Eligible participants from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs), whose presentation has been accepted for this conference, may claim funding from the IRENE COST Action.

World Stroke Congress

28 – 29 OCTOBER 2021


The WSO Congress will be held virtually on 28 – 29 October 2021 and will be organized by a program committee representing various continents around the world.

Eligible participants for ITC Conference Grant need to submit their application before 10 September 2021.

The IRENE COST Action may cover the conference fees and other expenses of participants from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITCs), whose presentation for a conference has been accepted.

In order to claim funding from the IRENE COST Action, these participants need to submit their application 45 days before the conference start date. Please fill in the following form and send it to
